Here at Beeutiful Wraps we make beeswax wraps which are not only compostable, breathable and eco-friendly, they are pretty too! Do your bit to reduce plastic pollution and food waste today
Welcome to Beeutiful Wraps based in Hampshire. As with so many of us, our family has become more and more disturbed by the damage inflicted on our planet by plastic. Clingfilm is a single use plastic and beeswax wraps can help reduce its use. We decided to set up a family run business and make our own beeswax wraps as a plastic-free alternative.
After trying many different recipes we have finally arrived at what we feel is a beautiful, reusable, natural alternative to clingfilm. Unfortunately, we can’t eliminate plastic overnight but we can take small steps as individuals to reduce its use. The beauty of sustainable beeswax wraps means food can be kept fresher for longer as they are breathable.
Our beeswax wraps are made from high quality 100% cotton, beeswax, tree resin and jojoba oil. Our beeswax comes from the South coast from bees that have mainly fed on forest, wildflower and gorse blossom with an amazing colour and scent. These are all natural products that will return to the earth when you have finished with them. In fact, you can put them on the compost or use as firelighters for log burners or BBQs. Our packaging is also totally recyclable too!
Two sisters, Tracie and Kim, with help from their mum, are the dedicated makers of the eco-friendly Beeutiful Beeswax Wraps. We have small children and feel passionate about improving the environment for our young ones to grow up in. As such, our wraps are made with love and care and they are handcrafted using natural ingredients.
